orionBiz has just completed the delivery of two major projects into the Fire Doors Manufacturing industry
Utilising the orionPlatform we have successfully implementated a Doorset Estimating and Scheduling system with an integrated Customer Relationship management console.
The orionPlatform is modular in design allowing clients to tailor the system to their requirements. Below are the modules that the orionPlatform consists of:
- orionCRM – Customer Relationship Management tool.
- orionUI – Product Configurator (User Interface) – Utilising the power of Microsoft Excel
including Ironmongery Set Management. - orionRuleEngine – Providing product validation rules to ensure compliant product configuration.
- orionBridge – Our Product Configurator utilises Excel, the ‘Bridge extracts data from the Excel document and efficiently stores it in a SQL Database.
- orionCostingEngine (BoM Mode) – Material and Labour costs are driven directly from the AME Bill of Materials (Advanced Modelling Engine).
- orionCostingEngine (Lookup Mode) – A more simplistic model utilising cost-book style lookups.
- orionDrive – A project-based file management structure.
- Business Process Engine – Provides background automation for the generation of quotations,, costing analysis, order / delivery acknowledgments, works instructions, bill of materials output…
- orionBackup – The orionPlatform operates in a virtualised environment, the backup utility stores all data onto the host system.
